DR NELE LENDERS
About
Dr Nele Lenders is an endocrinologist with a commitment to providing excellent and evidence-based care to patients. She has a special interest in pituitary disease, sports endocrinology, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), functional hypothalamic amenorrhea (FHA) and adrenal disorders. She also accepts referrals for a range of general endocrine conditions, including diabetes, obesity, thyroid and bone disorders.
Nele has a PhD in pituitary disease through the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. She has a passion for research and its translation to clinical practice. She has numerous publications in the field of endocrinology and regularly presents at national and international conferences. Nele is a Staff Specialist Endocrinologist at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney and is a Lecturer with UNSW School of Medicine.
In her spare time, Nele enjoys cooking, spending time with family, her dog, playing sport and running marathons.
