Dr Mike Lin is a Consultant Endocrinologist dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate and personalised care. He manages a wide spectrum of hormonal disorders with special interests in osteoporosis and bone health, diabetes, thyroid disorders and other hormonal conditions.

 

Dr Lin graduated with Distinction in Medicine from the University of New South Wales. He completed his specialist training in Endocrinology at Royal Prince Alfred, Concord and Ryde Hospitals. He works as a Staff Specialist Endocrinologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

 

Dr Lin is also a medical researcher at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and is currently completing a PhD on improving osteoporosis treatment and preventing fractures. He has published and presented research both in Australia and internationally. He is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia and the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society.

 

Dr Lin believes in taking the time to listen to his patients and to understand their individual needs and concerns. His goal is to clarify medical conditions and treatment options in a clear, approachable way that empowers patients with the knowledge and confidence to manage their health. He enjoys working closely with patients and their GP to provide practical, personalised and ongoing care.
